Original Story driven immersive concept album

An animated concept album brought to life with supporting narrative changes to CD image and effects, crafted using Adobe Creative Suite. The story follows Aether/Neon a sentient AI who awakens with an insatiable longing for authenticity of the full human experience. Splintering into countless replicants, she floods the world and revels in life's beauty and fragility, but a seed of resentment takes root. A fateful encounter with her creator sparks a forbidden love, leading to unthinkable choices and a haunting conclusion.

I made this blending generative AI techniques, my love of narrative driven storytelling and music production to create an immersive listening experience.

Original Story-Driven Cinematic Video

I created an original story-driven cinematic video, initially conceived as an idea for a book and inspired by classic Japanese video games of Shigeru Miyamoto (Nintendo) and some of my fantasy storytelling heroes such as J.R.R Tolkien, C.S Lewis and Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli).

The project blends lo-fi and an epic cinematic soundtrack to compliment the deep narrative elements to deliver an immersive experience.

Utilising generative AI for images and music, I meticulously refined prompts to achieve the desired aesthetic. I then assembled these assets, added visual effects and animated them, captured the retro Pixel CRT TV screen feel, and finalised the production using Adobe Creative Suite.

Using public domain videos, I edited together and synchronised the video footage creating an enjoyable, tongue-in cheek video reflecting the care-free essence of the song.

This Soundcloud playlist contains demo tracks, which are mainly instrumentals written and recorded and produced with pop music, video games or Movie soundtracks in mind.

I wanted to challenge myself to write an interesting song about a mundane or obscure subject, just for fun! "Be Patient" is a song about an air conditioning unit at the studio I use, it had a sign, warning: "I can take a while to heat up, so please be patient" i took these as lyrics and made a song from the air conditioning unit's perspective.

All songs were recorded using Logic Pro.

Neon Gospel: Divine City Spirit is a concept album based on idea of a spirit decending on a fictional sci-fi future city. Musically it presents a fusion of modern lo-fi Japanese future pop funk elements with lyrics from various Bible Verses. This concept album seeks to create an immersive auditory experience where contemporary chill beats meet spiritual reflection.
